How to Make Panch Villa Taqueria Beef Burrito
-
So I could tell you that this is the best taqueria near the mission. But to be honest they are all amazing. What makes this place stand out is its fish tacos. Grilled to perfection and massive.

Lots of natural light, ever smiling staff, charming live music, and burritos that make you forget every other. This is how I imagine Mexico to be! I will validate when I actually visit.
-
Make sure you know what you're having, the line moves fast! Also, get ALL the salsas.
-
Nachos can also be refreshing and light. That's the approach at this spot, where lettuce and diced tomato adorn the taqueria's offering. The choice of succulent meat and rich beans is yours. Baca selanjutnya

A canteen kind of restaurant the place has a local feel and the food is cooked in front of you. Great place for a meal with friends and a drink or to grab something to go! Baca selanjutnya

If you're craving Mexican food, you'll be satisfied after a stop at Pancho Villa. Order the garlic prawn platter with rice, beans and tortillas paired with one of their many fresh agua fresca drinks.
-
Everything is fantastic, but for your first try definitely get the asada burrito with black beans. Unusually big seating area for a taqueria means you can usually find a spot for a group too.
-
This is my go-to place for veggie burritos (or sometimes quesadilla!). They have great selections for vegetarians like me and my fave is Super Vegetarian Burrito with watermelon agua fresca.
-
Best tasting burrito hands down. Tortilla was perfect, beans are perfect(I don't even like beans), meat is amazing. Couldn't ask for more. Brought my coworker here and she agrees it's that damn good.
-
Haven't been there in a while but when I open the app Foursquare was reunited again! Pancho Villa is the go-to place it's friendly the atmospheres always upbeat and the food is always good!
-
The shrimp and steak super burrito is wrapped well and tasty. It is 12 bucks though. There are 6 or 7 salsas in the back but nothing mindblowing there. Line goes deep; quite an operation.

🌮 🌯 🌮 🌮 🌮 🌮🤘. A lot of options and all if which is pretty great. Can't go wrong with anything here. Staff are really friendly and helpful

Pancho Villa serves one of the best burritos in SF. If your burrito needs a little extra something, Pancho Villa's remarkably-comprehensive salsa bar is there to rescue you. Baca selanjutnya

The best burrito battle is a never-ending topic of conversation in our fair city, but judging by the enormously long but quickly moving line, Pancho Villa has already won the war. Baca selanjutnya

Comida mexicana muito saborosa. O burrito, a quesadilha e os churros são indispensáveis. Prove a agua fresca, não esqueça de pedir os nachos que são cortesia e conferir o balcão dos molhos.
-
Basically perfect Mexican street food, cheap and delicious. My absolute favorite is the chile verde chicken super tacos with black beans and hot salsa.
-
Can't decide what you want? Order a la carte meat, beans, and other fixin's. Don't miss the champiñones al ajillo, those garlic mushrooms are delicious!
-
The first Mission taqueria I went to in 2002 and still a solid place for a burrito or quesadilla. Make sure to load up on their excellent salsas!
-
I've tried about 10 taquarias now and this one is my favourite. The Salmon Taco is superb. So is the condiment selection, unlimited coriander and limes ftw!
-
A bit pricy , but from 3-5PM weekdays they have $1 tacos and $2 beers. (El Toro around the block does also). Had two Salmon Tacos($1.75) and a Negro Modelo for under $6 yesterday, they were great.
-
They are on DoorDash, good place to get some delivery burritos. Carne asada tacos/burritos are really tasty here. Not on the level of Farolito or Cancun though.
-
Skip the snapper la plancha plate. Garlic prawns plate instead. $12 incl salad, rice, guacamole and tortillas. Salsa bar and chips complimentary.
-
I eat here way too much, but their carnitas burrito is great and the verde salsa is phenomenal. I could drink their verde salsa straight up.
-
The fresh salsa bar is great, the shrimp quesadilla is awesome. The San Mateo location is better however this branch is still quite good.
-
Love their salsa? Take some home. You can purchase a larger container at the counter for $1.50.
-
Get the mini burrito with guac & sour cream - it's definitely a meal on its own. And don't skimp on the habanero salsa!
-
The garlic mushroom quesadilla is so so good. Just make sure you eat it quickly because it will get soggy in the takeout container.
-
Loved the Super Quesadilla with chicken. Charred chicken taste is awesome.
-
Get tacos. Super fresh pico de gallo. Grab for lunch then head south on Valencia Street for your hipster-tourist boutique shopping.
-
Great Mexican food! If you are a Mexican in the States and miss the food, this is one of the best places to go.
-
Chips are delicious and they will happily give you more. Very friendly staff albeit doesn't understand English 100%. Dinner came with entertainment Wednesday night.
-
Thursday night the line is crazy long and parking is impossible but no matter what Pancho Villa is worth the wait
-
This was so good. A little overwhelming given all the options, but even just a regular carnitas burrito was excellent.
-
Everything is great here! Always fresh ingredients! Been coming here since 2005. Can't beat their taconomics deals: $1 tacos Monday thru Friday from 2-5 p.m.
-
Best carne asada tacos. A ton of meat and great salsa bar.
-
Tons of good salsa options. The big lines move fairly quickly.
-
Amazing carnitas, be sure to try some of their more exotic meats and top off whatever you order with toppings from the salsa bar.
-
Had a burrito basically the length of my forearm and cried after, it was that good… I also definitely ate it too fast but that's another story. Just go.
-
The enchiladas and burritos are amazing! Haven't found a better salsa bar anywhere in San Francisco.
-
Great meat and salsa selection. They have like 100 people working behind the counter, so it's always quick.
-
Steak and Nachos are delicious. The service is excellent, clean facility plus the food is efficiently.
-
Dat Salsa bar. Winners of California state fair salsa awards every year since 2001...except 2008. Wtf happened in 2008?
-
Burritos! Clearly. But don't forget the flan (or lots of other items on the full menu).
-
Burritos of course, great people watching and a prolific Salsa bar!!!
-
Steak and prawn burrito is the move here - they cook the prawns just right w/ a garlic butter sauce
-
Deluxe carne asada burrito and nachos. Super fresh.

Dinner plates are awesome if you want to sample some of the food.
-
Vegan tofu ranchero burrito with black beans, rice and pico de gayo salsa, plus they have a wide variety of salsas.
-
Closest thing to authentic Mexican I was able to find, but don't even think it's the same as chilango pastor.
-
Best mission burrito is SF that I've had! Get the super burrito with pork.
